Any convo about why adults aren't reading need to start at why kids *stop* reading. The reasons for that are myriad, complex, and interconnected. They often revolve around level of parental involvement, access to a library, and the way schools treat reading. You get men to read by funding schools.

what did you end up liking as your primary btw? I started out with the long pole (glaive) but it seemed underpowered until you can inflict status ailments, but by then i had speced into the knives, and I like them decently. It is annoying for being unable to take on hoards tho
