I’m in a pretty good mood about the city today because back to back I hung out at my favorite cafe from college (tweedy’s fka spiderhouse) saw a comedy show at the paramount, went to an old friend’s hardcore show at mohawk, and had dinner at yellow jacket.

I didn’t make IRL trans friends until October 2013 when I moved from Tacoma back to Austin and went to the first TGQ at the spiderhouse before they moved to the Vortex theater.
