i recall seeing what they were calling the director's cut or extended cut or something got theatrical release, included the spiderwalk which they couldnt do in the original because they couldn't obscure the wirework but then cgi came in. also they stuck a whole lot more pazuzu faces EVERYWHERE lol

It's been YEARS since I first saw this, and I think it was The Version You've Never Seen since I vaguely remember a spiderwalk so I don't think I've actually seen the original cut before.
Anyways this is basically a perfect movie. Masterclass of slow burn.

Yeah that shit is tough. Dexterity practice with a metronome is key for this style of playing I’m finding out. Anytime I’m watching tv or basically doing nothing, I’ll grab my guitar and run spiderwalk til my fingers are tired. The cross picking and speed is what I’m really having trouble with.
