That's a Romulan Colander!

I just posted up another release of 3d printable starship miniatures up to Cults3D : cults3d.com/en/users/tyr...

Every month, I post most of my ships from my previous month's Patreon up to Cults for those that might want to purchase ships ala carte versus on a continuing/supporting basis.

Continuing in my #3dmodel spam, I had a thought for how to take the #StarFleetMuseum Romulan ship I was iterating on and introduce a cargo variant into the mix. Extended the rear hull and festooned it with cargo bays, and then integrated the cargo pod structures from the battleship version.

The concept of fusion-powered vs. matter/antimatter-powered warp drive is central to most of Okazaki's work at the Starfleet Museum.

The way he weaves those details into so many different stories makes it really rewarding to engage with all his material.

Earlier today, I decided to take the #StarfleetMuseum Romulan Cataract and play around with iterating on the design a bit. I'd had an idea in my head for a battleship size version of the ship, and after creating that I thought it could be interesting to create a few more variations on the theme.

I was trying to keep the C-name scheme alive, and in a fit of pique the first word that came to mind was Colander 😄

It just seemed like a natural extension of some of the other #Romulan ships from the #StarfleetMuseum, and should fit in right alongside the Cabbage and friends.
