I was also able to get some of the CC1110 wireless stuff working! I sent out some SubGHz packets and picked them up on the Flipper Zero! 🐬

Solved a puzzle at my mom’s house: a ceiling fan was missing a remote and wasn’t working with the other fan’s remote. We figured out it was subghz and not IR. Grokked that it was rolling code, got the remote dipsticks right, and set it to light on/fan low. Now it works from the wall switch.

Pulled the trigger last night on the hardware for my dedicated @nzyme.org tap project.

Hope to monitor 2.4/5/6ghz wifi, BT/BLE, and subGhz(which nzyme doesn't support yet)

Planning on creating a lua module to support a web gui to easily configure the tap .conf

When you talk about it like that ("cloudless, offline home automation") it honestly makes sense. (IR for as many remotes as I can, SubGHz for ceiling fan and garage, RFID for my work badges)

okay I did hack my heated cat bed controller with the SubGHz function and a faraday bag but haven't gotten the fan remote yet
yeah don’t use Apple Pay lmao

I do! That’s how I realized it was subghz and not IR, and how I figured out the frequency.

I don’t have those technical answers, just the shorter the wave the longer the signal travels. But here’s a discussion on it: www.reddit.com/r/flipperzer...

I finally have captured the subghz signals of my ceiling fan remote accurately so that I can successfully emulate them with the flipper zero

fuckin FINALLY

Wanted to test subGhz on the flipper zero so I went driving around looking for some teslas. Found one IMMEDIATELY upon entering Ferndale, of course lol. popping the charger cap works

Not art related, but interesting (to me) I got a Flipper Zero!
Got my whole room controlled through the thing, can invite all the Animal Crossing villagers I want and see what devices are broadcasting on the SubGhz bands.
This thing is a hoot!

not against the law to use the IR app to change tv channels, but there are cheaper options. it could be against the law to use the touch tunes remote subghz files to skip shitty songs at the bar, but it is extremely satisfying and i'll never stop.

They’re awesome but you likely already own a lot of the capabilities the flipper offers.

Otoh such a compact package is excellent; and the GPIO stuff and expansions also make the device ever expanding in capabilities or Range—

I’m able to control pretty much any tv at home and a lot of others too :)

There’s a few remotes that use subghz or higher / Bluetooth and stuff though majority are still IR—and typically the same Samsung brand remotes IR files work for fairly much the entire range
