if you've heard of the Resol'nare, then you know the foundation upon which the Supercommando Codex was written: education, self-defense, armour, language, the tribe/clan, and duty to the Mand'alor. importantly, violence and conquering are *not* inherent to the Resol'nare.

oh my GODS okay so literally in Legends this is actually addressed!!! Jaster Mereel (Jango's buir) wrote the Supercommando Codex to try and reconcile the issues - he believed not in conquering but in self-defense, but also kinda was the one to push Mandalorians to become bounty hunters as well
