So I went to see my first drag show (Swamplesque) last night and it was AMAZING

Can’t believe I forgot to take photos at yet another costume party. At least I got a single mirror selfie. The bustle came out way cuter than I expected!
The long bit of tulle on the wand is the Shrek beam, btw. It Shrekifies.

If you have the chance to see #Swamplesque at #EdFringe DO IT. DO IT MORE THAN ONCE IF YOU CAN. It's a joyful chaotic parody while also being an excellent burlesque show with more talented performers than you can shake a stick at 😍😍😍😍😍

So Swamplesque is the big one here, and won't show up when you type in Shrek. But it's well worth checking out. There's a broader bend toward 'fairy tales' and 'different fantasy settings' that's been going on since the pandemic.
