this is incredibly important advice. working alongside others helps keep up motivation, is good for advice, and helps with networking. thecampus art club and painting in a group figure lab helped me push through my (unmedicated) adhd to get my degrees.
Get a group of good supportive people around you. Whether it's IRL or online or both, times are going to be hard and you need people cheering you on. Don't completely rely on complete strangers for feedback, listen to your gut and don't do anything that makes you really uncomfortable or unsafe.
