#PlaskettFire is burning intensely on all flanks this evening, has now burned to Hwy 1 and possibly to Pacific Ocean, and is likely over 20k acres at this point. Between Plaskett and #TimberFire to north, much of Monterey County coast is now under evacuation warnings or orders.
The Timber Fire and Plaskett Fire, two wildfires near the Big Sur coast, continued to push north as warm conditions and winds elevated burning — triggering new evacuation orders and warnings.

this will help tamp down #timberfire and #plaskettfire as will the accompanying spike in humidity, but it's nowhere *near* enough to put them "out"
