I'm not sure whether this is growth in number of users, or just people in TPoB writing a lot as they absorb recent changes in AI — but subjectively it feels like bsky (or TPoB) just transitioned from "small knowable community" to "I can't see the edges of this phenomenon or read everything"

i am attracted to the simcluster (and what you might call tpob, and its predecessor, tpot) i think mostly because its a space with unusual levels of intellectual humility. intellectual humility is rewarded, disagreeing is a bit less dangerous, and we can laugh at ourselves and be lil silly about it.

possible counter-argument: using tpob stream-of-consciousness writing conventions is how you unlock the superintelligence
also im somewhat partial to the argument that clean, typo-free prose overlaps in latent space with the set of all good engineering practices
