To put Brenda's remark in context: Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil are both running candidates and the Terenure Pharma Bro won't be spotted reading Slavoj Žižek or Naomi Klein anytime soon.

What she is asking for is a *far* right candidate.
Go for it Brenda. Give it a lash. See how you get on.

Look at me, all surprised* ...

*I'm not one bit surprised that some Terenure business knob would turn out to be another far-right grifter.

A bizarre novel with a beautifully illustrated cover, The Norwayman by Joseph O'Connor, and published 1949 by Faber. A gift from a friend who knocked across it in Terenure.

The handling in Terenure vs Mary’s was better than the handling in this.

The boyo played every match and every minute. They got to the final , only to lose to a last minute score by Terenure. Fantastic effort and performance by all the Inst Under 14s 👏👏👏👏

Discovered the other day that Ken Doherty's snooker hall is still going in Terenure, for anyone planning a sabbatical from the rat race.

Imagine rocking up to Terenure pre-season to find out your new Coach is Carlos fucking Spencer.

Genuinely struggling to understand how they managed this.

Incredible.

John Boyne would rather be a transphobic piece of shit and spend his whole life hurting other people than go to therapy

A friend sent me this photo of one of my Dublin City Bot prints hanging in Bujo in Terenure.
I’ve made it!

This is like something Ross O'Carroll Kelly would say about Crumlin.

It's just slightly outside the southside's rugby school district (Terenure is the westerly edge of that flat earth) and if that's your definition of absolute shithole then you need to go clean your monocle.

Boyo is pleased after a 60-10 win against Terenure in Dublin. 🤣
A bit battered and bruised though…

Hello Blueskylarks. If we were to make a map of Dublin (or Manchester or Belfast or wherever) lighting up the areas and places mentioned in song, which neighbourhoods would shine brightest?

I've often wondered over the past few years about how the abuse in posh schools like mine and Terenure and Blackrock took so much longer to come to light than the horrific abuse at industrial and CB schools.

The victims were more privileged but so were the abusers.
