The Timberyard, Leeds.' (c1915) What you notice about Charles Ginner's paintings are the strong colours, lack of shading, thick paint, and the realistic content. The critic Frank Rutter described Ginner's pictures of northern industrial cities as good as any by any artist.

I went out to an astronomy society meeting tonight, so I'm a little late, but now I have a Hindsight NEIPA from Timberyard Brewing Co. (East Brookfield MA). It's definitely solid, with kind of melon-tropical on the front end and almost a little leatheriness on the back end. #BeerSky #BskyBeer

The Radford family's Timberyard restaurant changed Edinburgh's dining landscape forever—not with their food, but with their drinks lists.

@katiematherkm.bsky.social talks to the people behind the beverages at Timberyard, Montrose and Haze.

These Days of Salt and Fog — How Edinburgh’s Timberyard Reinvented the Restaurant Wine List — Pellicle
In a warehouse building on The Shore in Leith there is a natural wine bar called Haze. Its name is appropriate, both for the unfiltered wines it sells and the haar—sea fog—that rumbles inland on warm ...

I've opened a Blueberry Honey Ale from Timberyard Brewing Co. (East Brookfield MA). Grain, hops, blueberries, and honey were all sourced from Massachusetts! Both of its headline flavors come through very nicely, and at 8%, it's got a little zip to it. A uniquely tasty brew. #BeerSky #BskyBeer

I accidentally told my "Portuguese timberyard" story the other day and felt more strongly than ever before: shit. That's what I should have done.

I've written about the amazing beverage team at Timberyard/Montrose/Haze and how their drinks lists look beyond natural wine for innovation (although thanks to co-owner Jo, they were one of the first adoptees of "low intervention" wine in Edinburgh)

I live close to there and it’s such a disappointment considering The Timberyard is close by and probably the best example of social housing built in dublin in the last 50 years.

A bloke came in to sign his son off
He said "My son hasn't got a new job. But I am taking him back to Portugal with me, for his mental health."
I must have said something about speaking Portuguese.
He said "I could use you at my timberyard"

Such a beautiful day today. The aroma of the wood warming in the sun in the timberyard was just gorgeous 😊☀️

Weeding and mulching the two Turkish Hazel #trees, (Corylus colurna), that we planted in Timberyard Lane, #Lewes in April 2022. A welcome gift from Lewes District Council and they are doing very well!

Tehan is a log. Regardless of whether you meant something that's found in a timberyard or a toilet bowl.

Walked by it on my way home after the game… should have dropped in.
The best negroni I’ve ever had was a Verbena Negroni from the Timberyard. Sublime.

Deliveries to Scotland! Not something we do frequently. Clemens Busch magnums door to door delivery from the Mosel to Timberyard in Edinburgh. Then off to the Borders (via Fife?!).
Stopping off at the fantastic Tebay Services in both directions.
