Acridodon, a grassland titanosaur. While horsetails and other gymnosperms are much preferred by other titans, and these are far more productive habitats, there are enough grasslands in Kairul that a few lineages of titanosaur have adapted to their specialization.

And with that, the size chart enters a new frontier! It will likely keep stretching out to the sides, as well as further down - but I think we've hit the upper limit with that titanosaur.

Kid (asking question with math homework): How many “three egg omelets” would a single titanosaur egg make if a titanosaur egg weighed 10 pounds and a regular egg weighs 2 ounces?

Me: none.

Kid: Nevermind!

Me…. But, I gave you the correct answer.

It was important that the giant titanosaur here be termed the 'Mongolian titan' to mark it out as a separate species from the other titanosaur in the sequence, Nemegtosaurus. But things got changed in the script and so it was referred to as the 'Mongolian titanosaur' in error…

“We need to collect samples from three dinosaurs. One, Mosasaurus…”

“Two, titanosaur…”

Like, any? Some are kinda small.

“And three, Quetzalpcoatlus.”

You are tearing me apart, Lisa.

#Abditosaurus, a #sauropod #dinosaur described in 2022 from the most complete European titanosaur skeleton found so far. Its name, meaning "forgotten reptile", references the fact that its remains were partially excavated in the 1950s before being left for decades when funding was lost.
