A twoparty system is way to rough to be called a real democracy, extremists can as well easily take over at least one of the two parties, maybe even both. Then you have a fast lane towards dictatorship. The US president has way too much power.

They need a democratic electoral system similar to the European one, not a twoparty system based on billionaire-funded campaigns. Supreme Court judges will only be elected for a limited period and require a two-thirds majority. Those with criminal records will no longer be allowed to run for office.

Idunno I think he has a point, the twoparty system and lack of a vote of no confidence or any other circuit breaker is hard to call a functioning democracy at this point. In most of the world this kind of crisis would result in a new constitution by EOY but Americans are built different I guess

Any election the CIA pays any attention to becomes dishonest by that attention: they kill candidates, bribe, intimidate, kidnap & lie. So if anti CIA candidates do some of that to counter the CIA that's a form of fairness.
