not only that: hitler yemakh shmoy hated Fraktur typefaces because he thought they were too jewish. he made Antiqua the official typeface of the third reich.

The thing that drives me nuts about their work for Shojo Beat is that their shounen manga lettering is fine. They only use these terrible typefaces and fonts for Shojo Beat.

What do you think of the typesetting in 2000s Dark Tranquility? Seeing their logo earlier had me thinking if there were concept albums about typefaces. Gotta dig now that I remembered again.
