Posted a small update on the CFIA Patreon today — the Unforum restoration is underway! (Unforum was a part of Unfiction.com, the original forum for ARGs in the early '00s where people posted news and discussions about games, including creators discussing vocabulary and alternate reality game design)
I haven't posted about it much, so my new follows may not be aware that I've started a Patreon for a new project of mine, the Center for Immersive Arts. My goal is to preserve and educate about the history of immersive art, theater, games and more

Posted a small update on the CFIA Patreon today — the Unforum restoration is underway! (Unforum was a part of Unfiction.com, the original forum for ARGs in the early '00s where people posted news and discussions about games, including creators discussing vocabulary and alternate reality game design)

Thankfully, there's someone maintaining the archive of the Unforum now, so you can go through and see YEARS of threads upon threads of users in the process of discovering and solving probably hundreds of ARGs. I have a thread on there somewhere for my first one.
