I hope it isn't gauche of me answer this again, but I really want to use a battlemoon for this answer. Sometimes a gold (prideful) or orange (invigorating) sun will burn up into a crimson battlemoon, or warmoon. These inspire horrific ultraviolent bloodlust. Time for glory!

You gotta read some Laymon! It's extremely sleazy stuff, very ultraviolent & propulsive. He writes like a 16yo boy, with some bad dialogue, but still lots of SplatterPunk fun.

Would need citations on that one. I've never heard of any study actually showing that. The bigger issue id imagine is the propaganda (or any other intentional psychological manipulation), not an innate quality of realism even if ultraviolent.

I dont think that study aligns with the contention here.
"increased aggression 24 hr later, but only among men who ruminated about the game." is interesting, but it's reading too much into the results to extrapolate that into "ultraviolent video games make people violent".

License to Kill (1989): I was expecting this film to serious and joyless, but I think there’s enough camp to lighten up what many say is Bond’s send-up to ultraviolent revenge films. Dalton’s still a treasure as a 007 with enough charm to smooth out his prickly side. Benicio was foine in this one

License to Kill (1989): I was expecting this film to serious and joyless, but I think there’s enough camp to lighten up what many say is Bond’s send-up to ultraviolent revenge films. Dalton’s still a treasure as a 007 with enough charm to smooth out his prickly side. Benicio was foine in this one
