今作ってる曲、はじめは出音を全部ChipSynthMDやVOPMで揃えてそこにChromaやEvokeを挿してなんとなくモダンな音を作る予定だったけど
これはもとの音をFMに縛る意味がないと気づいて没にした…
今や全部Serum2が刺さっている悲しき（？）事態に

I used ripped MDX files from the game Asuka 120% and converted those into .opm files for the VOPM plugin in Ableton Live! It rules but its totally on *u* to make sure u follow the rules of the console hahaha

I remember using a custom build of MAME that is able to log VGMs like a decade ago so I could create VOPM presets from the weird instruments in SF1's soundtrack. Didn't get far because vgm2pre doesn't support YM2151, though I could probably fork it and add support myself if I really wanted to.

That's something I often tend to ignore, but the choice of sounds and also the mixing is drastically different - mixing is basiclly only volume and panning adjustments. I use a plugin called VOPM for 16-bit and a huge aspect there is shaping the sound of the instruments, which can take up some time.
