Neither is Every heathen a follower of Grimnar specifically. There are many Vanatru, Rokkatru, and others.

But still is this, nevertheless, my Truth: Racism & Bigotry Have No Place in Heathenry! Period!

Hey #Witchsky
I just got here myself and love the community feel!

Im a European pagan, dedicated to Freyja, who practices Vanatru and Seidr and works for a pet rescue, rehoming and rehabilitating cats. 🐱

Looking to meet likeminded people to exchange ideas with and be inspired by :)

Now that Friggsmoot is done and dusted, its time to look ahead at next year...and the consecration of Freyr's godpost at the Great Heathen Gathering. Excited! There's so many freyrspeople within the community. #pagansky #heathensky #witchsky #freyr #vanir #vanatru

A harrow he made me, laden with stones (now it's rubble that's become glass), that he reddened with new cattle blood. Ever did Óttarr believe in the Ásynjur.

By the old reckoning, today's moon marks the start of the veturnætur (winter nights). Historically, this 3-day period celebrated the end of the harvest season, the start of winter, and the coming new year. #asatru #vanatru #fornsidr #heathensky #pagansky [1/2]

Sigurblót also marked the end of winter, and it is in this way that most modern heathens choose to celebrate it... as life's victory over the cold months. We strive to keep these ways alive to honour our past and our gods. Gleðilegt sigurblót! #heathen #pagan #fornsidr #asatru #vanatru [2/2]

By the old reckoning, tonight starts sigurblót. Historically, this 3-day period was celebrated in preparation of the upcoming raiding/fighting season. A blót was done for continued peace, but called for victory if battle ensued. #heathen #pagan #fornsidr #asatru #vanatru [1/2]

Freyr is best
of all heroes
in the Æsir courts,
he causes no maid
nor man's wife to weep
and loosens all shackles.

Three thurse maidens came, mighty in dark power, out of Jötunheim.
Urð was called the first, second Verðandi, Skuld the third.
They scored on a tablet, there fate they laid, there life they chose.
They declare the destinies of mankind.

On Ragnarök:

Surtr rides first, and before him and after, fire burning. His sword is very righteous, and it shines brighter than from the sun...then next slings Surtr fire over the earth and burns all the world. So is said in Völuspá.
