People know at this point that covid isn't really a respiratory infection right? It's an infection that happens to spread via respiratory systems but that causes system wide inflammation. The flu is a respiratory infection. It sticks to your lungs for the most part. Covid doesn't.

A niche frustration I have as someone with vasculitis is when Covid gets referred to as "airborne vasculitis." It's not–it needs to appear a certain way in a biopsy and blood test results for it to be so.

I'm going to scream tomorrow as a vasculitis haver if very rare instances of Covid triggering vasculitis come up in the Covid vaccine ACIP meeting tomorrow. Be warned. I get vaccinated against Covid because I don't want an infectious vascular disease making my vascular condition worse.

I would just like to say, I do a pretty good job as a disability reporter, while exisiting with vasculitis, ME/CFS, a TBI and more. It's not easy, but I make a pretty good effort.

I've been too sick to be in university before due to uncontrolled vasculitis. Let alone getting Long Covid, I don't want Covid, which has a vascular mechanism, to worsen my vasculitis (also vascular).

For my rare type of vasculitis, see people running into this behavior based off of FB posts. Like, doctors aren't even digesting their own literature. I like my vasculitis doc who is quite honest with the fact we don't have good options for persistent fatigue.

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. I'm glad to be here. Debilitating chronic pain and other symptoms made me not want to be shortly before my vasculitis diagnosis and for a year after. It can get better. I hope for all chronically ill people to suffer a little less.
