PS. À mon humble avis, les cathos, pour ne pas dire l’Église, ne se saisissent pas assez de l’énorme boulot de réception de #VaticanII que fait actuellement le pape dans ses catéchèses du mercredi. S’il y a matière à dialogue fructueux entre les différentes tendances, je pense que la base est là.

The CatChurch has been in flux more than a century. Since VaticanII there have been several sects, like SSPX, pop-up, get beat down (excumm'd), then allowed back in, on & on...I remember the cringe over "folk" masses. Also remember much later the nuns strumming their guitars instead of the organ.

I grew up in the 1950's. I still have my St. Joseph's Daily Missal with Latin on one side, English on the other. I never 'clung' to the Latin Mass. Vatican II was great with me. Especially turning the altar around to face the people. Boy, did *that* make sense. #VaticanII
