Dinner was baked pasta with mushrooms, roasted peppers and scamorza cheese, paired with a beautiful Viogner reserve, from Soma, that features a floral aroma with notes of spice and nectarines. Just a little off-dry, it went beautifully with the pasta.

Y en el Huerto de la Condesa disfrutamos mucho la visita a la viña. Sus vinos de garnacha son muy expresivos y los tienen desde perfiles dulces a secos con crianza en madera. Yo me quedo con el huerto de la condesa tinto (fácil y sabrosa) y El Pinsapo (seria y elegante). Y con su Viogner!

It's weird thinking about how effective Swift Boat Veterans for Truth was, and they're trying that too, but somehow felt like this would make a good pairing with that. Like a dry viogner with a cheese risotto.
