VirTra (Nasdaq: VTSI) was awarded a $1.5 million sole-source contract by the U.S. Army Contracting Command–Orlando to provide an integrated V-300 4K immersive firearms training system, including recoil kits and supporting equipment, to support partner-force training in Tajikistan.The Army awarded the contract on a sole-source basis, recognizing VirTra as the original equipment manufacturer and only provider able to deliver the required proprietary hardware, software and integrated support. According to VirTra, the program supports U.S. efforts to build partner capacity and strengthens the company’s position in global defense training markets.
