Police Video Shows LAPD Beat Handcuffed Man in Van Nuys Jail Before His Death ~ L.A. TACO
LAPD officers forcefully restrained a man, kneed him, and struck him with their elbows. He was later found dead in his cell.

New from me: LAPD released video from an in-custody death that occurred in July. Jose Carlos Hoyos-Munoz appeared to be in crisis as 6 to 9 officers beat him three separate times. One officer is seen putting his knee into the back and neck of Munoz. He died 20 min later.

Update: The Riverside County Sheriffs Department denied my initial public records request for headshot photos and rosters of their officers. Thanks to the help of my wonderful lawyer, Weston Rowland, we sued and won. Another win for police transparency.
