Im Prozess sich von Big Tech zu lösen komme ich dem heute wieder ein Schritt näher.

Das iPad wird heute gegen das Volla Tablet mit VollaOS von Volla getauscht, das iPhone macht im April den Platz für das Volla Phone Plinius, ebenfalls mit VollaOS.

Jeg har en Volla Quintus med VollaOS og Ubuntu Touch. Men FairPhone og /e/OS er ret gennemprøvede og stabile. Systemet vil have begrænsninger fordi nogle udviklere nærmest deler seng med Big Tech. Det samme er tilfældet med de systemer jeg normalt kører. Her fungerer MobilePay i øvrigt, men så

Android er jo bygget på Linux… Men lidt pumpet med spyware og cloudløsninger fra Google.
Der findes så LineageOS, /e/OS/, VollaOS der alle er bygget op Android Open Source Project - i de og andre tilfælde Android uden Google. Generelt er indlæringskurven i super stejl, hvis man kommer fra Android.

VollaOS funktioniert für mich soweit. Hatte nur eine Einschränkung, die Telekom Magenta App mochte nicht (angeblich unsicheres System). Also fix den Anbieter gewechselt (war sowieso geplant) :D

Das Tablet ist eigentlich schon länger im Verkauf. Es gibt auch drei Smartphones und man kann abgesehen von VollaOS (Android) auch Ubuntu Touch (Linux) auswählen oder beides darauf installieren dank Multi-Boot-Funktion.

Auf dem "Volla Phone" aber auch "Volla Tablet" kann mit "Ubuntu Touch" kaufen oder mit "VollaOS" (das auf Android basiert und Android basiert auf Linux) aber man kann dank Multi-Boot-Funktion auch beides parallel installiert nutzen.

Non, ça va. J'ai pris de l'avance. Je n'ai que du linux à la maison. PC de gaming sur Ubuntu, laptop sur popOS, télé sur librelec kodi et téléphone sur VollaOS. Je pousse aussi très fort au bureau pour faire adopter nextcloud sur notre Ubuntu server.

I have switched from ios iphone from USA to #VollaOs /Ubuntu phone from Germany. Sick and tired of beeing spied on and it's a matter of survival for Europe.

I know that many parts in both iphone and Volla comes from Asia. Volla phone is at least asembled in Germany and is degoogle and prolinux.

Starting to use my new phone which is a volla Phone.
It runs VollaOS an Android based security oriented OS. It takes some time to get used to (especially if you are 100% googleised like I was) but it feels good!
