So who was the last rookie pitcher to save a WS clincher? Wainright?

Yeah, it was joy and love and a little bittersweet. But Emily’s guitar still shreds and Lucy Wainright sounds gorgeous on the harmonies.

Though I hate Ocober, I have to confess that driving to and from Keswick from South Lakes was v colourful. The scene across Thirlmere looked almost Canadian. V beautiful.

I wemt up Kings How last in August as part of our work team's Wainright Challenge. It was v misty so didn't see owt 😢

When I first began work with the Canadian Wildlife Service, the peregrine recovery program was just underway. One site of re-introduction was where I worked in Hull QC. Young hatched at the base in Wainright Alberta were fledged from the top of a highrise. Exciting & very, very successful, post DDT.

PP is really milking the Wainright fire for all it's worth.
October 19, 2026 at 8:56 PM
PP trying to look sympathetic and emotional as he talks about the Wainright victims... I don't buy any of it.
October 19, 2026 at 7:12 PM
I'd go with "disrespectful" to the Canadian military and the people who died at CFB Wainright.

And now the lead separatist talking cowboy hat has been on the news blaming the Wainright fire on DEI programs.

God damn those people are stupid, even for racists.

✅️💔🙏🏻CFB Wainright Alberta
CFB Wainwright is where the women and men of our Armed Forces train to defend Canada. To serve Canada.

Now Canada serves them.

Alberta separatist leader Jeffrey Rath makes unsubstantiated claims that ‘DEI programs’ and ‘gender fluid’ soldiers may be to blame in CFB Wainwright tragedy

Wainright is in his adopted riding of all things.

Good Lord, the soldiers killed at Wainright were on their way to Latvia as part of the Baltic trip wire brigade against Russian incursion, and they were caught in a wildfire that travelled a kilometre in under a minute due to high winds. www.ctvnews.ca/edmonton/art...

He’s an idiot. He puts his foot in his mouth constantly. Addressing the fallen soldiers at Wainright yesterday - well, he made me sick. Every single soldier’s life is/was important & not just the one he happened to meet. He always makes it about him. Four young men died. 39 injured. 19 critical. 💔💔
