I asked him to to talk about what motivated him to join me today, both because I'm a little sick of the sound of my own voice, and because I think it's so important for men to be speaking out about these topics, too. Grateful to have had him here with me. | Women's Walk Across America

For Emily, Women’s Walk Across America was born from the feeling that she could no longer sit comfortably at home while watching what was happening to women’s rights across the country. She needed to do something. So she started walking. What began as a woman refusing to stay still has become a journey across America, bringing together people who are willing to walk, speak up, start conversations, and show those in power that we are paying attention. You don’t have to have all the answers to take action. You don’t have to know exactly where your first step will lead. You just have to decide that staying comfortable is no longer an option.
