#Whiteform is so last week, but I had the chance to visit the Burren yesterday and as well as a million purple devil’s bit there were these pure white and pale pink forms. And more wonderful things including #seedheads for #wildflowerhour later. @bsbibotany.bsky.social @wildflowerhour.bsky.social

Pastels for #wildflowerhour Centaury for the #GentianFamily challenge. Three facets of one wild rose bush and a surprise pink primrose from the garden. Plus a #WhiteForm of cross leaved heath from Bodmin Moor. White ling is common but I’ve never seen this before.

Snake's-head Fritillary in usual dark red chequered form & a #WhiteForm. Mickfield Meadow, #Suffolk. In Swedish Kungsängslilja which grow on site of a battle near Uppsala
where red are supposed to represent a dead Danish warrior & the white a Swedish one! February this year. #WildflowerHour
