#Wicker
Wicker directed by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson is a perfect film - if you haven’t seen it, do. Olivia Colman emotes so intensely, yet genuinely, Sally Field has real competition now. The townsfolk were perfect caricatures and their idiosyncratic behaviors were a joy.

Getting to watch Wildwood and then Wicker as a chaser was a very good decision. XD I have many good thoughts, but mainly, that it is a very good time for me, a person who adores fairy tales

Thinking about Wicker: Overall I liked it, but felt a little uneven? we’re so desperately starved for a story about a devoted, genuinely kind masc creature that I think it got graded on a bit of a curve

Lumpy, but fun story, full of ridges like a wicker dick

Saw "Wicker" at the Laurelhurst Theater. Enjoyed it.

Olivia Colman, you know. Plus you get Peter Dinklage, a Skarsgård and a John Cale song at the end.

"The Wicker Man Ritual was never about Insta stories or online engagement; it was about people coming together as one for the shared human experience of watching their neighbors get burned to death in a wicker cage to appease the cruel and bloodthirsty gods that govern our world."

While the Wicker movie doesn't seem like my thing, I like that it's a romance where the couple actually love each other and not another "they argue everyday and the man doesn't believe in consent but they still live happily ever after" story. Like it's OK to write those but those are sad endings.

10/30/26: Wicker (2026) 🎥 7/10

Genuinely thought this would be hornier / an outright comedy, glad it wasn’t. The romance between fish and wick was compelling and the movie looks great. Easy recommend.

I watched Wicker(2026)!
I had no idea that this movie existed until 2 hours before I watched it and had absolutely 0 expectations.
It's a beautiful story about sincerity, trust, loneliness, and wanting to fuck a tokusatsu suit.
Summed up in a sentence: "Wood'.
