i was very fortunate to have rescued many bald eagles when i was a volunteer at our local wildlfe rehab. once i had one get loose in the back of my station wagon when i was racing down the highway. kind of nerve-wracking!

Osprey, wings back, head well down, legs extended downward. Has just locked on to a target below and is starting it's drop downward. White bodied bird under, black and brown in wings, black distinctive stripe at neck and extending to eyes. Seen at the Lake Apopka Wildlfe Drive in Florida.
