OK, this is pretty cool. It’s possible to install Winapps, which is essentially a Windows VM with dedicated windows for each application, in Bazzite. Got it working by following the instructions. Pretty cool!

It took me one day to make #Winapps work on my #NixOS #Linux machine, but now I am working on MS Office within my #KDE and I like the appearance. Unlike when running MS Office from the #virtual machine, the image quality is good.

I can at least run Fusion 360 inside WinApps and make things with it. Pretty slow though; that's next up.
WinApps itself is easy to set up on paper, but I had to go on a wild goose chase for a couple indirect gremlins. Nothing major for seasoned linux users, but wouldn't recommend for newer ones.
