In a furry world, a lot of us fluffier mammals would need to have our wintercoats blown out every spring lest we awkwardly & asymmetrically shed for several weeks

Do you think that there's some Raubvogels who have "thicker" wintercoats due to evolution compared to others? Because even within Europe the weather can be more extreme depending on where you look.
(Southern Europe being warmer generally, while Eastern and Nothern generally can get much colder)
