I know this sounds wooey and doesn't even always work for me but sometimes I've found literally telling myself that everything's fine, nothing to stress about, just relax, calm down, stop buzzing brain you need sleep to wash out all the adenosine, etc. actually can help.

I feel like vegans/vegetarians are the only crunchy-adjacent people who can generally be assumed to be left-wing these days, and their numbers feel like they’ve been reduced over the last few years by the exodus of wooey ones.

I put the first three or so VAST albums on shuffle the other day and it's still proper classic. It's insular, chauvinist, formulaic, wooey, but excellent.
I've struggled to stay interested due to the guy himself.

A lot of my favourite sciencey subreddits always had a steady stream of wooey posts from space cadets but now instead of being two-sentence 'I think I've proved gravity isn't real' type threads, it's a deluge of fucking turgid essays. Every other new thread is an unreadable wall of text.
