I know I should be patient and nice but I am constantly fighting people on their worldviews and misdirected anger and frustrations and it’s just a lot all the time. Which I am sure I am preaching to the choir but like god. People really don’t look at anything unless you force them to and even then.

If there's anything I've learned this year, is that the enemy of your enemy is NOT your friend.
You can have the exact same worldviews on human rights and dignity, against real bigotry, but those same people will demonize you at the first scruple, cling to rumors, ostracize and blackball you.

Why do so many people want to deny the fact that a stroke causes brain damage that can change a person's thought processes?
Is it somehow better or easier to believe he was simply lying?

bc we are all splintered into our various sects & individual worldviews, we have no group mentality or conscience that would embolden any form of street justice against those the majority feel deserve punishment when they escape the courts freedom intact. So rapists walk free over & over again

I wonder if we have anything to talk about. As a Democrat, I knew that Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich, George W. Bush et al had worldviews for which they were effective spokesmen, much as I disagreed. Today, I simply don't understand the (dwindling) appeal of Donald Trump, and simply don't engage.
