Thinking about it, there are significant commonalities between the two genres. Certainly, when I was translating the fight scenes in Records of Xiangxi that were somewhat superhuman, wuxia/ #xianxia was one of my reference points (the other being anime). Tomb raiders do turn up in wuxia fiction, 2/
