Working on a map of Arlington for my Geographic Information Systems class and though I'd share part of it. Here, every parcel that contains residential units (from SFH all the way up to mixed use high-rise apartments) are shaded on a satellite base layer. What do you notice? #urbanism #yimbysofnova

Arlington could soon expand the radius of what is "walkable" to Metro for the purpose of increased density. I think *at minimum* we should use the distance that NIMBYs call walkable when advertising the homes they are selling. #yimbysofnova

I'm very proud of freshman Delegate Adele McClure's accomplishment and support for pro-housing reforms. She worked to get fire department support which is usually the deal breaker for these efforts. This authorized study is a great first step. #urbanism #yimbysofnova
