BEHOLD! MY FIRST KNITTED GARMENT AS A BEGINNER!!
Made from yarnsmiths aran merino, it took 16~ balls of yarn & just under 2 months of steady knitting (a few rows every day, nice & slow). It weighs just about 1kg!

It was Yarnsmiths Headliner , sunset not sunrise , it is 4 ply though but it irks OK with a size 4 hook , although grew a bit slower.

Knitting friends, she is finished. My Bees Knees cardigan is done and I am so pleased with how she turned out. This project has been on the needles for three months (thanks heatwave), but I got it done just in time for autumn. Yarn is Yarnsmiths Merino DK Heathers in Red Grouse. #knitting #knitbsky

I've finished my autumnal jumper and I love it! Please imagine it over a plain black dress rather than a patterned one (cba to get changed to try this on!)

Today I've begun my first large garment! It's for me, knit in a red acrylic with red sparkle, a festive little number. It's practice as I'm going to also make it for my sister for Christmas and I'd like hers to be perfect. Pattern is by Drops.

Multiples of 3, last 2 stitches knit. Makes pretty edges too.
