I mean, the "question" was "are you willing to mandate treatment" which has already come up. Mandatory treatment, by which people generally mean removing people by force and putting them in locked abstinence-based facilities, is remarkably ineffective at achieving lasting sobriety.

If this triggers something negative towards PNP or me, I get it. But our community needs actual supports that are destigmatizing, compassionate, based on their wants and needs, centers equity and pleasure, AND recognizes that full abstinence isn't for everyone (which is OKAY).

So I looked into this campaign and it's basically a campaign that argues that when men kill their partners and claim "rough sex," it's bad and shouldn't be allowed as a defense. But every single story they cite, the defense...didn't work. The men still went to prison.
The author brought up a fairly sensible-sounding school program to teach young people to always seek consent before doing weird sex stuff, but apparently only to ridicule it.
