#Gaza: This morning, amidst intense fighting in #AlMawasi, a densely populated area in southern #Gaza, 12 of our team members and their families were surrounded by bombing and heavy shootings in their homes, while more than 30 others were trapped in our office. ( More in thread )

While injured people were arriving to the Doctors Without Borders emergency room in the health clinic of #AlMawasi, our teams were forced to close the facility due to insecurity, leaving people without lifesaving care.

The IDF just expanded #AlMawasi today, adding 2.3 sq km for a total of 69.3 sq km (~19% of Gaza).
