Every day, hungry people arrive at this cafe in Ambikapur, where they receive a hot meal. But they don't pay for their food with money – instead, they hand over bundles of plastic such as old carrier bags, food wrappers and water bottles.

🍛Some cafes in India are now accepting garbage as payment for hot meals.

♻️People can trade a kilo of plastic waste for a full meal or half a kilo for breakfast.

🥰"I can get food for my family in exchange for the plastic I collect. It makes all the difference in our lives," said one patron.

EVER little Pappu in Indis is "doing AI" these days! Institutes teaching AI are springing up in towns like Ambikapur!

But it is clear that none of them actually understand what AI really means!

"AI will make programmers irrelevant!"

Please! You don't understand AI or programming!

Now STFU!
I remember a time in the 90s when every Paplu doing BSc in Ferguson was claiming to have learnt C/C++ Programming at some Computer institute! They knew the buzzwords but None of them were programmers! Not by a long shot!

AI in India is going through a similar phase now!
