I looked up the original posts to get context, and it's because he's posting about an Eastern European Heritage Reception at Gracie Mansion, which is a tradition started by Eric Adams a few years ago. It's the most anodyne "we are all a great melting pot" posting you can possibly imagine.

i don't think anyone should run explicitly on banning online gambling but i do think that a democratic-led government should just quietly take steps to undermine the industry and create an inhospitable regulatory environment

I also love how the three things it comes up with are the most anodyne, generic three things a person can say about a child. 'Cold, boring and hates animals' would have been actually interesting, at least.
gotta say hats off to all the writers pretending to do profiles of Silicon Valley CEOs just so they can add that one same paragraph, every single time, that demonstrates they're all insane freaks who do not know or like their own kids.

RFK Jr.'s racism is completely consistent with his full suite of beliefs - ableism, misogyny - that place him squarely on the far-right. His occasional anodyne statements about food additives have never been meaningful or substantial, just bait for suckers.

The “liberals are the new racist“ ad is funny because the clips they show to predicate the point are the most normal, anodyne stuff delivered in normal, anodyne ways. They do all this editing to try and make AOC seem unhinged but she still just comes off as smart and normal.
