maybe my antirealism about disciplines is showing, but i don't really know what it would be to carve at the joints in this context. i also don't really know what makes branding 'better' by your lights. by the metrics traditionally used to evaluate literal brands 'philosophy of AI' is pretty great!

i don't mean to single out baseball fans here, because you see this in lots of fan communities, but in certain corners people talk as though baseball is real. they think all the players are real people and the stadiums are places you can actually visit. to each their own, but that cannot be healthy

This is a very real distillation of why Charles Entertainment Kirk matters so much not just to pigs like Gutfeld but to worms like Ezra Klein. It's quite simple: They've heard of him, so he's real, in a way Hortman, trans people, Black people, immigrants, me, and/or you are not.
