Kenner Jurassic Park Movie Collector Cards 19 - Roaring With Rage! This card features a great scene - a pair of Ceratosaurus being discouraged from attacking some Sauropods (probably Apatosaurs) by a bright red Apache helicopter. Interestingly their heads are red like their later JP3 film appearance

This wax Apatosaurus turned up in a cabinet. He has something to do with one of the old Life Over Time dioramas, but I’m not sure if he’s a prototype, master cast, or actual display model.

No, but seriously. It was probably because of watching Land Before Time when I was younger, but Apatosaurs (Longnecks) were definitely what comes to mind as a favorite dinosaur.
It's also why Amaura and Aurorus are my favorite Fossil Pokémon

That's because the field is still pretty new and we're constantly finding new fossils and making new discoveries that add/change how we understand the ancient world! A group apatosaurs was recently found to be different enough to differentiate with a new name, so brontosaurus is back!

Those puppets had so much personality! Even though we know apatosaurs didn't look like that, I love the image of the big, friendly Brontosaurus wading through the swamp. It always seemed soothing.

As far as I know, its been found in #Colorado which is close enough for it to migrate there.
It also looks fairly accurate for a #Giraffatitan adjacent species.
In the background, although harder to see are probably Apatosaurs, or Diplodocus.

Someone mentioned huntsman spiders around here today and this is the splash from the final issue (to date) of Mark Schultz's XENOZOIC TALES, number 14 (Jan '96) which features a huntsman spider as big as you could ever want... fighting a dinosaur. I love Lord Drumheller's pleased reaction here.

debate as to whether or not to rework the classification since its so messy and hard to pin down, they reshuffle these things constantly whenever new data comes out its the reason why Brontosaurus stopped existing until 2015 when they realized there was a seperate group within Apatosaurs
