I recall noticing it years ago, might even have taken a snap, past it again recently. It's by the Shinagag~Blair Atholl (estate) road. The SS has been recorded (www.trove.scot/activities/1206564). Oddly not marked on any early maps 🧐 ?? 📷 mine.

Working on the idea of conversational snippets of those who inhabited the Atholl shielings. I cannot (🤔) I now feel justifiably give them a dialect I nor they spoke. Theirs a multilingual (and hearty) composite yet also their own.

Battle of Inverlochy Castle in 1431 the MacDonald family against Earl of Mar & Earl of Atholl, supporters of King James I of Scots (1406-1437). It was unclear who had won. Earl of Mar fled without a horse and bare foot back to his Castle of Kildrummy.
What's that edible one? I saw a similar one around Atholl at the weekend and thought maybe penny bun?
