On today’s episode of things nobody asked for we have atomVM running gleam on a PSP 3001 packaged as an eboot.

Popcorn 1.0 Released: Moving from AtomVM to Full Erlang VM
Popcorn is a library that lets you run Elixir in the browser. We recently released Popcorn 1.0, which replaces AtomVM with OTP/BEAM.

ooh, i know of atomvm but they seemed far more focused on embedded solutions so this looks more fitting

It does run on the ps vita and I do have atomvm running on the PSP though it’s as an eboot so not super impressive

If somebody could donate some filament for nerves and AtomVM, that'd be great 😭🤣

Erlang and Elixir on microcontrollers, from the person who started it: @bettio.uninstall.it, creator of AtomVM, with 'Updates from the AtomVM Landscape'. Track 2, now.

Day 1 of Code BEAM Europe 2026, done. It opened with @samaaron.bsky.social on time and sound, ended with the Phone Orchestra, and fit Native Records, Lustre, AtomVM, LiveView hooks and a co-op Elixir shooter in between. Thank you to today's speakers 🧵 #CodeBEAM #Elixir

I was looking forward to the AtomVM talk!

Tomorrow I'll be speaking at Code BEAM Europe in Haarlem!

Did you know that more than 7,000 la machine devices running AtomVM have been shipped? Or that an Elixir-powered conference badge can control a Nerves robot using Erlang distribution?

I'll also cover JIT/AOT compilation, Gleam tooling […]

Seriously, this fix in AtomGL is pretty cool, at least helps my performance a lot. Haven't had time to work to get it merged though. github.com/atomvm/atomg...

I'm a total noob so this might be AI slop (generated and tested with Claude), but as far as I can tell it's sensible, and it seems to work for the game I tested. Summary do_update sent ever...

A very sweet post about Goatmire from Davide Bettio. Of course focusing on the badge as AtomVM is his whole deal. And the badge was awesome!

Every attendee of Goatmire received a badge running AtomVM on an ESP32. Games were made, badges were clustered and meshed. It was wild :)

A warm welcome to @saschagordner.de in the world of #AtomVM and #ElixirLang.
Context: After seeing how much fun we had at Goatmire, well... resistance was futile 😍.

Great! That's what I'm using it for as well. The badge is so easy to carry around, and it's good for showing people what AtomVM can do when I talk about it and Nerves.

Yep that was me 👋

Super cool to see Gleam on it! Got a repo to share? Can link it in the badge firmware readme as an example of Gleam + AtomVM!

For the badge app, check out avm_badge goatbot branch (note there are some issues with memory usage. Needs an update to the base AtomVM image, should be available soon). For the robot firmware, github.com/gworkman/goa...

We’re in the process of getting this into the bb_nsk package directly :)

I am absolutely over the moon about this 😁

The #Goatmire badge (running #AtomVM) controlling the Goatmire balance bot (running #Nerves and #BeamBots, rendering display with #Emerge) via #Erlang distribution

Thanks @lawik.bsky.social for the display PR 🫶
