The world is deeply divided… into automatic and manual transmission cars. I would guess that Norway only recently shifted to automatic transmission in lockstep with the electric vehicle boom.

"And what you can see in this simplest of comparisons, births start to fall in the places where you can get one, and they're not falling nearly as much in the places where you can't." One might argue the results are skewed because smartphones spread faster in urban areas or wealthier communities. But the results hold up even when Myers controlled for variables like population density and local economics.

Who can forget the Swiss-Austrian Union, or its famous capital - Istanbul.

London is in Wales, Paris is in Ireland, Rome is in France, Rom (yes like Rome but without an E) is in Spain, Barcelona is in Morocco, Prague is in Germany, Vienna is in Italy, Istanbul is in Austria, Milan is in Libya, and Antalya is correctly shown as in Turkey but is in the wrong place. Also a few of the borders like Switzerland and Austria or Hungary and Slovenia are missing.

Eh? I'm talking about a UK federation of around 12 regions and nations - like Germany, Spain, Canada or Australia. Or even Scotland and Wales.

That's how we improve political control. The result will be the British become more comfortable sharing sovereignty with the rest of Europe.
