Banbh at Eden Farmed Animal Sanctuary

At 15 years old, Banbh, is one of our oldest friends at Eden. In her early years, she was used as a 'breeding sow' whose children were taken from her and slaughtered. She will never be exploited again now that she lives on a vegan sanctuary.

Very few animals get old like Banbh at @thevegansanctuary.bsky.social. Most are brutally killed when they are a few months old for something we could very easily do without. Be vegan.

Banbh, one of our elderly residents at @thevegansanctuary.bsky.social

Named after the town of Banbh(Scottish gaelic) in Aberdeenshire, where some of the settlers originated from.

This is Caoimhe Banbh as a puppy, she grew up to look just like Indianapolis but twice as crazy!

Roubei esse bulldog 😝

omg I envy you

Caoimhe Banbh has the color of a lab, the body shape of a German shepherd, we think perhaps a pitbull size and eye color and 100% Husky attitude. lol, I love her to death, but she doesn't not shut up unless she is asleep. My other boy is a giant poodle x and he feckin bugles!

An mhuc bheag is ansa liom lol Ghoid mé an bulldog seo 😝

According to word of mouth incenter staff tell me that buttonhole cannulation technique is no longer being used at the home dialysis training clinic next door, even if they can or do have it's not being included in training anymore, so that's very good news! #dialysis #banBH

Banbh is a baby pig, this is nonsense

Banbh has been very unwell recently so we were delighted to see her going on a little journey in her paddock after lunch recently. She is one of our older, special needs residents. As Eden ages, so do the animals who live here and, sadly, end of life care becomes the norm.
