This predictably led to a challenging day for everyone, but we capped the evening with the final BareBones performance of the year, which redeemed it all.
It’s 2:45 am on time change morning and I just found our 3rd grader awake and reading a book.
I can’t even be mad since I was also awake and reading when he got out of bed.

It'll be fun to see how Schumer and company obstruct anything remotely progressive with a super majority. They're gonna bring back procedural moves that legislatures haven't seen since they had to obstruct Praisegod Barebones.

On my drive home from picking our pup up from doggy daycare today I saw:
-trees with the brightest reds & oranges I've ever seen
-homes with incredible Halloween decorations
-so many people smiling on bikes, including 2 folks riding trishaws (probablly to the BareBones puppet performance tonight)

low effort day today but honestly i might do a very barebones vampire makeup and dress up just to take pics for myself - and then just do a better vampire next year to have a fun "before/after" perspective on how much ill hopefully get hotter in the next year
