That was done the way they want it to be done. Calorie restricted diet with highly controlled macro and micro nutrient balancing. Weightlifting and cardio exercise. No bariatrics surgery or drugs.
It took up the entirety of my goddamn life. Required lots of accommodation by my friends and job.

The strawberry high protein* Cheerios are better the second time. They have a different shape, color, and texture from regular Cheerios. Crunchier. The strawberry flavor is good.
*post bariatrics, I need to squeeze as much protein in as possible, so gimmicks solve that problem for me.

And truly, for most of the people, I was working with for bariatrics surgery, as risky and is dangerous as the surgery can be, especially the long-term side effects, it was a life extending procedure. But to get those life extending benefits without the surgical risk? Miracle.

I am not fond of the commenters being nasty about what surgery she had (her protocol could be celiac adhesions with diabetes, or one of the bariatrics, but celiac contraindicates bari), but there is no way he ate a month’s worth of her food in less than two weeks unless he was doing it deliberately.

It will obviously be a little different for everyone, but my doctor (who is a bariatrics expert) is VERY high on it. It's been extremely effective for me. I had been basically stuck for a couple years, now the weight is dropping steadily in a way that's sustainable and healthy.

I think it is a coincidence. GBS can occur within 4 weeks of campylobacter infection. Preop diarrhoea can be common in some populations (eg bariatrics ~ nearly 10%), and it isn’t usually asked about.
