Yes, Bonnie Crombie is the Christy Clark of the BCUnited.

I agree. Those BCCon (former BCUnited) MLAs passed John Rustad’s sniff test 2 years ago. i.e., They were farther right than BCUnited (former BCLiberals).
September 23, 2026 at 1:17 AM
Just like Christie Clark.
And the BCUnited. All former Harperites.
Snakes.
January 25, 2024 at 6:57 PM
They also couldn’t stop 5 of their MLAs from voting against a meaningless NDP anti-Trump tariff motion in the legislature.

They were a circus before, and still a circus now, even though they got some respectable people from BCUnited to join them.
March 11, 2025 at 2:54 AM
Well as we BCers know. The BCUnited merged with BCCons. Rustad threw out all elected Liberals wouldnt let them join or run. So not surprised the Con going back to the Cons. Whats left in Cons are hard core conservatives & crazy righters. #bcpoli

Again, BCLibs were ALWAYS Libs until Socreds stole our party under Campbell. Then, like Socreds FedLibs/FedCons made up the free enterprise party. FedLibs got squeezed by Cons overtime. When they BCUnited imploded most FedLibs voted NDP. There are NO fedlibs sitting as BCCon opposition #cdnpoli
#BC remember that the #CarneyLiberals are not affiliated with the #BCLiberals. #BCLiberals were #Conservatives in disguised and most members are now part of the #BCConservatives.

I had a great evening with the BC United candidates who were pulled out of the last election. Although they were treated terribly, we’ve made some good friends now. #BCLiberals #BCUnited #bcpoli

Tomorrow is voting day BC! I already sent in my mail-in ballot.

Do not elect the climate change denier who was too right-wing for the Liberals/BCUnited who are now endorsing him! C'mon!

If we can keep an @bcndp we might be ok. They aren't perfect but I would hate a @BCUnited or BC Conservative, which quite frankly they are pretty much the same.

The doctrine began to crumble almost immediately after the election.

First, Rustad was forced to expel MLA #DallasBrodie for her comments on #ResidentialSchools, a move that contradicted his "no-discipline" stance and led to two more MLAs defecting in protest.

I hope with all the hope I can muster that #CarolFeilding is successful getting the #BCLiberal party name out of the clutches of #KevinFalcon who along with 3 Directors of BCUnited are holding the party name hostage. I want my BCLiberal Party back. The #GordonWilson version #bcpoli #cdnpoli #vanpoli

This Bro' thing. In the association I'm involved there are a couple of younger felllows (40ish) who are right into fist pumps and "hey bro". The are also both deeply involved in the Conservative party, previously they were both involved in the BCUnited.

BC cons have been around forever

But they've been a far right fringe of social conservative theocrats and kooks.

Kevin Falcon's sabotage of bcliberals and collapse of the meaningless name, bcunited, helped these freaks & kooks who would otherwise never win but a few seats, almost win power #bcpoli

Great story by my colleague Tom Popyk. Lumby Mayor Kevin Acton sues BC United over unpaid expenses.

BCUnited doesn’t have to file election finance report b/c it didn’t run candidates - AND declaring bankruptcy (seems likely at this point) would not deregister the party.

Really? Good! Anything to split the #conservative vote is good, especially when you put a well known former #BCUnited / #BCLiberal #MLA running as an #independent #MLA against the #Tories. youtu.be/Rt_c5u-hiRo

Because BCUnited was like
"Sure their executive director helped platform nazis at UBC, but at least they aren't the NDP!"
And threw in the towel.
This province is a clown car.

You and or @bcndpcaucus.bsky.social both? should do one tweet a day about #BCHatred party's Damon Scrace on that 54 page bcunited oppo file.

And in every tweet remind people he's paid by taxpayers to be BC Cons comms officer.

If few liberals left start up a new lib party? Them too

Oddly enough, this doesn’t surprise me. Two years ago, Milobar and the other select BCUnited MLAs passed John Rustad’s “are you far enough right” test to join the BC Conservatives; Mike Bernier did not. Milobar and his BC Conservative colleagues aren’t centre, or even centre-right. They are right.
The CentreBC party, which essentially agreed to let Milobar and his coalition of eight MLAs take over their party four days ago, is now big mad that all of them (with the exception of Elenore Sturko) seem to be returning to the Conservative fold

Unclear what their political capital is now though
September 22, 2026 at 8:38 PM
Keep in mind when you hear #Doerksen interm BCCon leader & others say there might be a merger with @centrebc.bsky.social. the BCCons threw out Liberals from BCUnited when each merge & Cons selected folks to run for them. Rhee are no Liberals in BCCons #bcpoli #vanpoli

#bcliberals #bcunited #wtf #w/e it’s not branding; it’s the heart of your policies and your follow through that will get #bcvotes to consider your fate at #electionsbc. U cut off #pwdvotes with notion of “gently lovingly putting them away” for good at a refreshed #Riverview Hospital. Just 🛑 & think.
September 13, 2026 at 7:11 AM
Then there was the BCUnited. Leader Kevin Falcon wanted to “quietly, gently, lovingly LOCK US AWAY FOR GOOD,” Freudian slip? He couldn’t even see what was wrong with that. How would MPs cope if they each had one refractory #mentallyill locked up for good? Don’t forget what John Rustad did.

If any good comes from this, perhaps it'll be a new appreciation for Indecendant candidates.
